In addition to his historical performance practice, musician Luka Juhart focuses primarily on contemporary music. He performs internationally as a soloist, member of chamber ensembles and orchestras. In addition to his creative activity, he is also a composer. He is active as a teacher at the Academy of Music of the University of Ljubljana, where he teaches accordion and chamber music and is the head of the Department of Contemporary Music and the Studio for Contemporary Music. Although he is the recipient of many awards and regularly collaborates with eminent musical names, he prefers to emphasise his enthusiasm for art music and his concern for the dissemination of the arts.
