Primož Trdan (born 1986) is a musicologist. He
graduated with a work entitled Transformation of the Genres in the
Concerto
for violin and orchestra by Janez Matičič, and received the Prešeren Award
for students at the Faculty of Philosophy for this work. He has been published
in the Journal of Musicology and the Journal of Criticism in Science, has
written music reviews for Dnevnik (national newspaper), was the editor of the
Odzven online music magazine, and is Managing Editor and presenter at Program
Ars (national classical music radio program). He regularly contributes expert
commentaries in concert and festival lists (Cankarjev dom, Narodni dom
Maribor, Slowind festival ) and discography releases (Založba ZKP RTV, DSS,
Zavod Sploh, NEOS).
