“One must seek the lines, positions, affinities,
albeit in an extreme strictness, rough, reduced, perhaps even minimalistic sonority
but filled with some intermediate, almost impersonal, nebulously suggestible form.
There are certain elementary shapes or clusters in which indeterminate noises –
cracking, grating, plucking, whirring sounds and noises – occur. However they
do not exist, or take place in some kind of ether, but the trail leading to
them is also important – intuitive, memorable, experiential, contextual,
