concert
cycle of experimental and improvised music
At the heart of the Razsrediščenja cycle in 2026 will be two standout acts: a fresh duo consisting of Ana Kravanja (Slovenia) and Martin Küchen (Sweden), and the international quartet Tepih, made up of Samo Kutin and Tomaž Grom (Slovenia), and Jonas Kocher and Gaudenz Badrutt (Switzerland).
With its distinctive collective dynamic, subtle layering of sound, and exploratory approach, Tepih contributes to the expansion of the field of improvised and electroacoustic music. The duo of Ana and Martin is marked by intuitive, multi-genre improvisation. Together, these projects represent a continuation of the successful interweaving of Slovenian and international knowledge and artistic experience.
Non-idiomatic improvisation, research, experimentation, the development of a personal musical language, and radical openness to sound form the foundation of the artistic approach of the participating musicians and of the Razsrediščenja cycle as a whole. The programme promotes the decentralization of musical activity, directing it toward smaller local communities. The project advocates for the international circulation of artists within Europe, while paying special attention to issues of economic, social, and environmental sustainability. It establishes a model of mobility that is fair, inclusive, environmentally moderate, and sustainable in the long term for all involved stakeholder
