of Slovenian elementary schools pupils evaluate health as the highest value
(prior to friendship, sexuality, entertainment, success …)
Health has become an
ideology. Sickness is perceived as a gap in the system, that threatens the
development and success of society, business, family, and individual. Various forms
of discipline and self-control over the body have become a norm that is
implemented through tax policy, law practice, education, media stigmatization …
