SHIFT#13: THE PLAY
27. 6. 2020
Playground Tabor, Ljubljana
Directions: Loup Abramovici
Performers: Andrej Fon, Estela Žutić, Gilles
Duvivier, JAŠA, Jelena Ždrale, Loup Abramovici, Nataša Živković, Vito
Weis and their children
The classical theory of the play is based on free, equal, autonomious
and non-productive nature. It sets its own rules outside the rules of a
“real life”. Play is also a very serious business. “The civilization of
the race never leaves the play as a play.” (J. Huizinga, Homo Ludens)
The play is a constitutive part of language, science, politics, art …
Loup Abramovici is a performer, dancer, creator of contemporary
performing arts. Play is his tool, his work, his survival strategy. He
is also a father who plays with his children every day … He is
constantly at play. Can he even afford to stop playing? Is this still a
play? How to play this play? Loup Abramovici invited his friends,
co-workers, parents, cultural workers in their children to play this
double play together
SHIFT#12: KINDERGARTEN SEŽANA
Workshop A fairy tale as an event
25. 3. 2020
Kindergarten Sežana
What do we tell children in kindergarten, what fairy tales they are listening today? Education as an activity seems quietly and peacefully placed behind the walls of childcare institutions, but it can marked the child for life. The
educators, led by Tjaša Črnigoj and Andrej Fon, develop a fairy tale
for children and create musical instruments for its staging.
