Furioso is a performative-sound score in which we encounter the raw energy of rage in various ways, each with our own instrument. Body and subject surrender to sonic violence, to the body’s eruption—furioso (wild, stormy), con fuoco (fiery), agitato (agitated). It fights against the feeling of powerlessness, which is fruitless, creating nothing—anger is productive, full of energy. How can it empower us without being merely destructive? To maintain lucidity in chaos, to create meaning amidst meaninglessness. We unscrew the valves of collective rage and vent—together.
This year, we invited dancer, performer, choreographer, and educator Nataša Živković to create the Ventilator project.
Ventilator is a program framework of the Sploh Institute, which, through experimental projects, explores new forms of expression at the intersection of music, dance, and performance.
The series avoids codification and strict classifications—it combines a defined performance structure with fluidity of expression. With this project, the Sploh Institute continues its commitment to research, innovation, and the production of new formats.
